Mission!

Hey Ya'll! ;)

So I got my mission call 2 weeks ago and I am super excited! For those of you who didn't know I was planning on going it's ok cause It was a very unexpected adventure for us all! So earlier this year I started feeling like I really needed to serve a mission, but I kept ignoring those feelings cause I didn't really want to... well they kept coming back stronger each time I'd pray about it or go to the temple. So I finally got the guts up to tell my parents about it and it has all felt really right. I've been a little nervous but mostly just excitement. :)

So on Wednesday September 7th I got a text from my mom, "your missionary call is here!" I didn't believe her cause it had only been 10 days since I submitted my papers. I called her right away and she said it was really there. So I called up everyone to come open it that night with me, and the rest of the day at work I could not pay attention. I was nervous, shaking, and sweaty all day. haha

When it came time to open it later that night I was more nervous then I have ever been in my whole life. I opened my call and everything felt soo right!

I have been called to serve in the Houston Texas South Mission. I enter the MTC on February 1, 2012 and I'll be teaching in the English language. Although, in my call it says it may change according to the mission presidents needs!

So today in one of my classes at BYU-Idaho I met a kid who was sitting right in front of me who served in the same mission and he had President Saylin (my mission president) and he loved the mission there! He was so jealous of me and he said if he could he would go back in a heartbeat. So he'll be giving me the low-down of Houston every class period from now on. :)

For those of you thinking "what about Griffin" (Cause I've already had tons of people asking) We are still writing every week. He is the best friend I have ever had, and I am so grateful that he is so supportive of my decision. This is been one of the hardest decisions I have made because I don't want to miss when he gets home, but I know everything will work out how it should. I trust in the Lord and I know in the end we'll all end up happy IF we follow Him. If not... well then we have no guarantees.

Anyways, I am super excited and can't wait to be in Texas!

Love you all!!!
